Former Lake Stevens Senior High School standout and current Central Washington Wildcats player, Kolton Matson will compete in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.
They begin the tournament as a number two seed against the second seeded Western Colorado Mountaineers.
The first game is on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 2 p.m.
In 2024, Everett Community College in Washington allocated $69,085 to its men’s basketball teams, which is $1,159,961 below the state average of $1,229,046, according to data from the U.S. Department of Education.
Women’s basketball teams from Snohomish County received $120,972 during the 2024 season, up 3.2% from the previous year.
Men’s basketball teams from Snohomish County received $169,074 during the 2024 season, up 5.8% from the previous year.
