As the community enjoys Catherine Creek Park and the use of its disc golf course, the City and the Lake Stevens School District would like to remind everyone that parking in the Mount Pilchuck Elementary school district parking lot is prohibited during school hours. There have been issues reported, including parking in the bus loop, which blocks school buses from their usual student pick-up locations.
The community is free to use the school district parking lot only after 4:30 pm on school days and from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm on non-school days. Street parking is allowed during school hours.
