Author Reading at the Snohomish Carnegie

Celebrate National Park Week with author Sara Graham as she reads from her newly published book, Mount. Rainer Bear Family Adventure, on April 23rd at 1 p.m. in the Snohomish Carnegie. Sara will read from her book and share real-life adventure ideas that human families can experience at the park. The event is free and open to the public.

The Bear family loves hiking, biking, fishing, and exploring Mount Rainier National Park. When they miss their chance to hibernate one cold winter, the Bear family discovers the fun they've missed at Mount Rainier during the colder months of the year.

Sara will share 10 Bear Essentials to help keep the Bear Family safe on their adventures during two presentations. There are two raffle give-a-ways as well. 

Schedule of event:

  • Doors Open: 1p.m.

     Slide Program: Mt. Rainier Bear Family Adventure: 1:20p.m.

     Raffle Give-a-way: 1:45p.m.

     Book signing: 1:50p.m.

  • Slide Program: Mt. Rainier Bear Family Adventure: 2:20p.m.

     Raffle Give-a-way: 2:45p.m.

     Book signing: 2:50p.m.

     Event ends: 3p.m.

The Snohomish Carnegie is located at 105 Cedar Avenue in downtown Snohomish. The City of Snohomish is a sponsor of the event. 

Author Bio: Sara Graham lives in Woodinville, Washington.  She has lived in the Pacific Northwest her entire life and raised her family there.  She has hiked and bike many miles on and around Mount Rainier.

Sara enjoys seeking adventure and encourages others to share her passion.  In 'Mount Rainier Bear Family Adventures', she writes about some of her favorite adventures around the mountain and hopes to inspire folks to venture outside and enjoy nature.  Sara's love of Mount Rainier National Park and the beauty of God's creation inspired her to write her first picture book, and she is excited to write more Bear Family Adventure books in the future.
