Celebrate Earth Day by exploring some nature-friendly rain gardens! These gardens do all the work in your yard by collecting, absorbing and filtering the rain that runs off your roof and are a great alternative to lawn. Once registered, you’ll receive a map of local rain gardens in north Everett to visit at your convenience. When out touring the gardens, take note of the variety of styles, sizes and plants used. Though all rain gardens utilize the same type of soil and zonal structure, there are many ways to make it fit into your property. The City's rain garden rebate program is underway!
