Anti-Crime Team arrest leads to the recovery of a rifle, stolen pistol, and a large amount of drugs!
Last Thursday, our Anti-Crime Team (ACT) recognized a known felon committing a criminal traffic offense. They conducted a traffic stop and placed him under arrest for the criminal offense. Our ACT officers knew this suspect to have a history of illegally carrying firearms and drugs. Due to this history, ACT asked Lynnwood WA Police Department to send a drug-sniffing dog to inspect the suspect’s vehicle.
Lynwood’s K9 alerted our ACT officers to the presence of drugs inside the vehicle, and they completed a search warrant for the vehicle. Inside, ACT found a loaded 7.62 caliber rifle, a stolen loaded pistol, 75 grams of methamphetamine, 528 fentanyl pills, and 23 grams of heroin!
Great work by ACT by getting these guns and drugs off the streets, and thank you to Lynwood for the dog assist!
