Granite Falls Hardware to give away American flags

Granite Falls Hardware will give away free American flags on Saturday, May 28 to honor the Memorial Day holiday.

Washington lost 341 soldiers in the Korean war and 660 in the Vietnam conflict.

Consumers visiting the store at 108 S Granite Ave, Granite Falls will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW Ward Roney Jr. Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.

This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.

Flags will be available at Granite Falls Hardware while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.

Granite Falls Hardware is located at 108 S Granite Ave, Granite Falls, Washington. This location is owned by Corissa Welch and represented by Asa Sprague.
