At the June 28th City Council meeting, the Mayor read a proclamation into the record declaring the City of Lake Stevens as a Community of Kindness.
The City encourages all city officials, employees, residents, businesses, and organizations to actively identify ways to increase and celebrate acts of kindness in our community and the positive role that it plays in our communal happiness and health. Acts of kindness can be performed by any person in the city regardless of age, origin, education, gender, religious beliefs, lifestyle, or abilities, for the good around them.
