Improvements within the park will begin in August and be completed in sections to minimize disruption of park use. Phase one of the project includes trail improvements
additional trail segments to create a 10-foot-wide, ADA-accessible path through the park. This path will ultimately link to the Silver Lake Loop Trail, a 2-mile continuous trail around
the lake.
Phase two of the project includes renovating the park playground which is expected to begin late summer and be completed early spring 2023.
The current playground was added in 1997 and has since become one of the most used and beloved playgrounds in Everett. The new design is focused on play equipment and
play experiences that support families and children of all abilities. ADA-accessible features that provide tactile, auditory and other sensory stimulation will be found throughout the
new playground.
