A multi-instrumentalist, Jean Mann’s songwriting began sort of out-of-the-blue, around the time her mother died. When she wrote her first song, it was art as therapy. Eventually
amassing enough material to participate in area open mics and songwriter showcases, which developed her lush voice and diverse performance style. The prolific songwriter has
released eight CD’s to date, touring the US since 2000 and Europe since 2014. Nine years ago, she began teaching ukulele lessons one-on-one, in person and since 2020, on
