Registration is now open for the City of Marysville’s fall recreation programs, leagues and events.
This year’s selections include new classes as well as long-time favorites, and range from youth to senior citizens. Among the offerings:
-Youth Basketball League for boys and girls in Kindergarten through eighth grade. Practices and games are held in Marysville and Lakewood Schools. Kids learn fundamentals and
teamwork during practices which meet once a week. Games are held on Saturdays in January to March.
- Holiday art, cookie and cake decorating classes. These fun classes for youth to adult correspond with the upcoming holiday season.
- Pumpkin Trail Quest encourages individuals and families to stroll along Ebey Waterfront Trail and solve riddles to enter for a prize.
- Photography classes for novices to learn how to use their DSLR camera or take better quality photos on their phone.
Other classes include fitness, dance, sewing, music, guitar lessons and other special interests. The City provides fun and innovative classes designed to serve the active and
passive needs of people that enhance and enrich our community.
