Calling all Lake Stevens residents and workers!
We invite you to participate in a public workshop to help us develop the City’s first Climate Mitigation Plan (CMP). A climate mitigation plan (CMP) is a roadmap for reducing the community’s GHG emissions and preparing for the potential impacts of climate change. This is a key action for the City to take to be ahead of the curve and protect the health and well-being of our residents and economy.
Community input is critical to ensure the plan reflects the needs and priorities of Lake Stevens residents and businesses and moves us toward a city-wide vision for a resilient, low-carbon future.
This workshop is free and open to the public. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the CMP and share feedback that will shape the City’s plan to address the potential future impacts of climate change.
The workshop will be held on Tuesday, March 21st , 2023 from 5:30 - 7:00 pm. To RSVP, simply register via this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZAtduyuqT8iHdNFrxQHrmnqIDaJ7Cr7RhkZ
